As the final bell of the 2025–2026 school year approaches, the halls of Pen Argyl are filled not just with anticipation for summer, but with the memories of a year defined by achievement, recognition, and community.
Throughout the year, students showed their hard work both in and out of the classroom. Classes pushed students to do their best, while clubs, sports, and the arts gave them chances to try new things, meet people, and grow their skills. No matter the activity, students stayed involved and showed what makes the school community so strong.
Assistant Principal Amber Krisukas shared one event that stood out the most: “I would have to say National Honor Society Induction. I love having the opportunity to celebrate hard work, commitment to leadership, and the accomplishments of the students who earn this honor… It was a true honor and one of my favorite events each year.” Events like this highlight not just academic success, but also leadership and dedication.
The school also took time to recognize important staff members this year. Art teacher Alison Cesare and math teacher Mary Smith being honored as they prepare for retirement. Krisukas described it as “a joyous occasion for celebration and deep appreciation,” recognizing the many years they have spent supporting students and the community.
Another major highlight was the Knight of Scholars event. Nolan Gerencser explained, “There are so many great events during the school year, however there is one that is very special to me… the Knight of Scholars.” This event brought together the National Honor Society banquet and the Top 10% Dinner to celebrate high-achieving students. He added, “These students deserve to be honored, and I am always in awe of their achievements each year.”
Beyond these big events, the year was full of smaller moments that made a difference. School events, sports games, and performances gave students the chance to come together, have fun, and build school spirit.
