There were four Christmas trees around the school. They represented the four pillars of the Green Knights code, Protect Integrity, Accept Challenges, Honor Diversity and Saute Kindness.
Each class' president picked a paper out of a hat containing one of the pillars to design and decorate their tree around.
The Freshman were given Saluting Kindness. Their tree was showcased in the B wing entrance.
They represented “Saluting Kindness” by putting up bees that state "bee kind" and hearts with kind quotes on it. The officers also put the knight's shield on the top with "Salute Kindness" in glitter, along with a ribbon that says "be kind." They also painted the earth saying, "In a world where you can be anything, be kind."
This took them 2 weeks to prepare but only a day to set up. Brady Whitman, president, and Kaen Kaiser, treasurer, both agreed their tree was the best. However, Kaiser thinks the seniors were good competitors.
The Sophomores represented Protect Integrity. Their tree was placed in front of the PAHS library.
They displayed “Protect Integrity” through inspirational quote ornaments on their tree, which represent integrity and its qualities.
The crafting of a design for it took around a week and a half. They then put the tree up and decorated it over a span of a few days. Their tree was in front of the library.
After talking to Wesley Bentley, president, he thinks their tree was the best but Kannon Reed, treasurer, believes the Freshman’s tree is the best.
The juniors did Accept Challenges. Their tree was at the top of the B wing stairs.
They showed their theme by writing challenge cards to hang on the tree and putting textbooks under the tree to give examples of challenges that people face.
This took them a block return to set up but they had been planning for a while.
Taylor Rose, secretary, and Alex Ferrell, vice president, both enjoy the placement a lot because people get to see it everyday and the books under the tree that span between many different classes.

The Senior’s Christmas Tree, one of the four, fully decorated and representing one of the four pillars for the Green Knight Code “Honor Diversity.”
Finally the senior class showed Honor Diversity. Their tree was in front of the C wing 1st floor entrance.
This tree displayed honoring diversity through different colored stick figure ornaments alongside hands that the life skills students colored for them. The tree was topped with a paper maché globe made by Fletcher Marsh, treasurer.
They were able to finish the tree after a few days of making the ornaments and the paper mache globe and asking for help from some other seniors to put everything up.
Marsh and Ella Davis, secretary, believed the Globe really brought the tree together. But other than theirs Davis likes the Kindness Tree (Freshman) and Marsh thinks Accept Challenges looks "really cool".
After voting, the winners of the Christmas Tree Contest were the Sophomores with Protect Integrity.
