I love to watch videos of simple recipes that I can try, cook together with my boys, then share with my family and friends. I recently saw a video recipe for "Trader Joe's Dumpling Bake." Sadly, we don't have a Trader Joe's nearby, however, Mrs. Weaver, our administrative assistant extraordinaire, offered to pick up the ingredients while visiting Trader Joes on her travels to visit her daughter. Once she kindly procured the ingredients for me, I made the most savory Thai-style dumplings.
Ingredients:
1 can of Trader Joe's Organic Coconut Milk
3T Trader Joe's Soyaki (think soy sauce meets sesame teriyaki)
1/2 jar of Trader Joe's Thai Style Red Curry Sauce
3 minced garlic cloves
1 package of baby spinach
1 package of frozen dumplings (chicken or vegetable)
Combine all of the ingredients, cover with foil and bake at 400 degrees until the sauce is bubbly, the spinach is wilted, and the dumplings are fully cooked (approximately 45 minutes). You can enjoy them plain, or top with green onion and/or chili crunch oil for some added heat and texture. You can also serve this over steamed jasmine rice.
